ELl-3001 Airborne Integrated Signal Intelligence System (AISIS) is an airborne Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) system developed by IAI ELTA Systems as a multi-mission platform that copes with electronic signal warfare. Based on a Gulfstream G500 business aircraft platform, the system performs long-range, long-endurance SIGINT missions. It provides vital tactical and strategic intelligence for onboard human processing and transmits the data to a ground-based mission processing center for offline analysis in real time.

The system integrates Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) and Communications Intelligence (COMINT) sensors that search, intercept, measure, locate, analyze, classify, and monitor communications and radar transmissions. Multiple operators operate the system to create an Electronic Order of Battle (EOB) situational picture in real time and present it to field commanders and intelligence agencies.

The AISIS aircraft operates with the special mission ‘Nachshon’ aircraft unit of the Israel Air Force and is designated ‘Shavit’. [1]
