Zvi Hirsch Wolk (born 1856 in Vilkomir close to Kovno in Lithuania and died in 1906) was the author of the Keser Kehuna.
Zvi Hirsch was born to Rabbi Ezriel and Taube Gittel Wolk. He was counted as one of the great and foremost students of the Yosef_Dov_Soloveitchik_(Beis_Halevi) and the son-in-law of Rabbi Mordechai Gimpel Jaffe [[Av Beth Din of Ruzhany and brother-in-law of Rabbi Yosef Zecahria Stern (author of "Zecher Yosef" of Shevel.
He was the brother of Rabbi Eliezer Lipman Wolk (author of Sefer "Ein Eliezer" and Av Beth Din of Druja, Rabbi Menachem Yosef Wolk (author of Sefer "Ner Miztva and "Shekel HaKodesh", Rabbi Moshe Jaffe and Rabbi Avrohom Jaffe (both changed their surname during the war).
He assumed the position of Rabbi of Pinsk at the age of 38 replacing Rabbi Elozer Moshe Horowitz and held that position for 12 years until is death.
He wrote commentaries on the Sifri as well as a volume of collected writings across a multitude of topics from across the Talmud spanning 80 essays which was published by his son Rabbi Mordechai Gimpel Wolk
His wife Yocheved (born 1874) was the daughter of Rabbi Mordechai Gimpel Yaffe (a student of Rabbi Yitzchok of Volozhin lived until 1953 and is buried in Sanhedria Cemetary in Jerusalem.
