William Trump, the son of Fred Trump III, was born in 1999 with KCNQ2 developmental and epileptic encephalopathy, causing severe seizures, intellectual and, developmental issues.[1] It took his mom 15 years to find out what his condition was[2]
Donald Trump originally paid for the medical expenses. But then Donald Trump told his nephew he should let his son, William Trump die, then "move down to Florida".[3] Fred Trump III, being the good father he is would let that happen. In a meeting about allocating additional funding for those with disabilities, Donald Trump said, "Those people, the costs. They should just die." Fred Trump III condemned Donald Trump for saying this.[1]
Fred Trump III continued to fight for the disabled on behalf of his son.[4]
