He pursued his early education in Varanasi, India, where he achieved distinctions in subjects like Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry during his high school education (AISSSE, 1986) and Intermediate studies (1988). His medical education began with an MBBS in Medicine from Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in 1993, followed by an MD in Medicine (Neurology) from BHU in 1997. He later completed a DM in Neurology in 2004, further solidifying his credentials in the field of neurology.
Career

He is currently a Professor and Head of the Department of Neurology at the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi.
