That’s Melody is a British digital television channel created by the That’s TV network that launched on 19th August 2024. It plays hit music going up to the current year.

The channel used to be known as That’s 80s but rebranded to That’s Melody on 19 August 2024 along with That’s 90s becoming That’s Rock the same day.

The channel has been described as “The Home Of Iconic Music” on several That’s TV related pages.

History

[edit]

That’s 80s started as a block on the local That’s TV networks, before becoming a linear channel split from Classic Hits on 16 January 2023.[1]

From 22 January 2023 to 3 January 2024, That’s 80s was temporarily rebranded as Best Xmas Music. The channel played Christmas music.

On 19 August 2024, the channel rebranded as That’s Melody[2], creating a schedule more focused on newer music, also adding 2020’s music. The channel also moved to Sky channel 361, filling a slot left by Now 70s’ movement from 361 to 355 after The Box’s closure. That’s 80s continues as a block on That’s TV2.

Programming

[edit]

That’s Melody plays a range of music up to the current year. The current That’s TV2 programming block and former channel name of That’s Melody named That’s 80s plays a range of 1980s music.
