Tābo bāchan (ターボばあちゃん, lit. 'turbo crone') is one of Japanese urban legends.[1]
While driving in the tunnel, someone suddenly knocks on the window. Looking out the window, an old woman running alongside the car is looking back. Mount Rokkō in Hyogo Prefecture often set as a background.
There are various theories about her speed: some say that her speed is 140km, others say that it exceeds the speed of sound, or the others say that there is no upper limit, so it depends on the speed of the observer's car.
Basically she is harmless, but she can cause traffic accidents.
