On September 15, 2024, four people were injured in a shooting by NYPD officers in the Sutter Avenue station in Brooklyn, New York City.
Shooting

[edit]Gregory Delpeche, a bystander on the way to work, was shot in the head. He was declared brain dead.
Aftermath
[edit]Protests reupted in surrounding Brownsville and at the station.
New York City Councilmembers Sandy Nurse and Chris Banks, whose districts surround the station, called for the release of officers' body camera footage and Banks further questioned why Mayor Eric Adams has not met with the families of the victims.[1]
