Submission declined on 10 July 2024 by Significa liberdade (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia. Declined by Significa liberdade 5 months ago. |
- Comment: This is a bit unclearly written, and I cannot ascertain whether the subject meets WP:NACADEMIC. Where it says
"inaugural Paul Rubacha chair"
, I first thought that means a named chair, which would satisfy NACADEMIC #5, but from the source this seems to mean chairperson (of department) instead. Similarly, NACADEMIC #8 requires the subject to have held the post of "head or chief editor of a major, well-established academic journal", but I can't tell if having been"the co-managing director"
of J. Urban Econ. is quite the same thing. Perhaps the author could study NACADEMIC and tell us which, if any, criteria the subject meets, and provide evidence in support of this? DoubleGrazing (talk) 08:22, 8 December 2024 (UTC)
