Stonyhurst International School Penang(SHP) is a co-ed private boarding and day school for students from all religious denominations between the ages of 3 to 18, located in Penang, Malaysia.[1][2] According to SHP, they have over 600 students as of December 2023,[3] with a maximum student capacity of 1300[4], who came from over 24 countries around the globe. Stonyhurst was named after Stonyhurst college in the UK, whom they share sister relations with.

As of September 2024, SHP is a full member of FOBISIA.[5]

Facilities

The facilities of SHP, designed to promote it's forward-thinking towards education, has a dance studio, 9 science labs, two libraries, two football pitches, 2 swimming pools, a car park, 2 drama classrooms, a cafeteria, 60 classrooms, a 560-seat auditorium, and a multipurpose hall.

Additionally, other less used facilities include 2 playgrounds, theatre facilities, a badminton court, a basketball court, a cafe, a common room, 2 music rooms, 3 art studios, two stationery shops, a nurse room, a Catholic church, 2 Suraus, 2 ICT rooms.[2][6][7][8]
