Early life
[edit]Martin graduated from St. John's College, Durham University in 2010, with a degree in English Literature.[2] She credits her career to having been auditioned for sketch comedy group The Durham Revue by Ed Gamble and Nish Kumar.[3]
Her sister is political activist Gina Martin.[4]
Career
[edit]Martin was a member of the sketch comedy group Massive Dad, along with comedians Tessa Coates and Liz Kingsman.[5][6] She creates comedy sketches on TikTok with actor Lola-Rose Maxwell.[7]
Martin has appeared on TV shows including 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Starstruck, Breeders, The Mash Report, Guessable, The Emily Atack Show, and The Horne Section TV Show.[8][9] She has written for TV shows including The Russell Howard Hour.[10]
With Tessa Coates, she hosts the podcast Nobody Panic.[11][12] Her first book, co-authored by Coates and published in 2021, is also called Nobody Panic.[13] She also writes a Substack newsletter called The S is a 5.[14]
With her sister Gina Martin, she previously hosted the podcast Might Delete Later.[15] She has appeared on podcasts including RHLSTP.[16]
She has performed shows at the Edinburgh Fringe, including Clout and Hot Content.[17][18]
Personal life
