Sreekanth V Raja

Sreekanth also knows as Sree or Sree V Nair (Raja Velladurai) is an Indian television actor, VJ and model, who works in Tamil and Malayalam films and television series also few Telugu TV serials. He was one of the two finalists in the reality show of Raj TVs Love meter.[1]

Biography

Sreekanth was born 2 Feb 1989, is a Malayali Nair by birth and was born in Srivaikundam - Tamil Nadu and was brought up in both Kerala & Tamil Nadu where his father was employed in State Govt of Tamil Nadu, but his family originates from the Kannur, district of Kerala. His parents are Velladurai Rajan and Parvathy Subramanian Nair. He has one younger sister she is also a Civil engineer, and Sreekanth Initially attended KV Kannur then Sairam matriculation and finally completed schooling in TH Global school in Tirunelveli later graduated as a Bachelor of Engineering in Nagpur University Former RTM NIT and He has also done his Masters INSEEC business School in Paris France. He can speak 5 Languages (Malayalam, Tamil, English, French & Spanish). Also, he is a trained Psychologist who worked in France and European countries for 5 years[2]

Career

Sreekanth had a great passion towards acting and wanted to pursue a career in it but before entering the entertainment industry, he used to work at Radical IT Solutions as a Human Resource Manager and administration director. He worked in London UK, Germany and France as International Commnication Manager in Various companies. Sreekanth had several other jobs, including modelling, and appeared in a couple of short films in Tamil before entering the television industry. He also attended Balu Mahendra Institute of Film Technology, Chennai[3] Sreekanth gained public recognition after acting in the mega serial Pranayam on Asianet, in the role of Sharan G. Menon. It was directed by Sudheesh Shankar and produced by Merryland Murugan. It was a remake of the popular Hindi soap opera Ye Hai Mohabbatein telecasted on Star TV, based on the novel Custody by Manju Kapur. In Pranayam, his character Sathyan G Menon was the male supporting lead, the CEO of a multinational company. In the year 2022, he made his Tamil television debut with the soap opera - Roja (TV series). He played a negative role Raj alongside actress Priyanka Nalkari who played title role of series. On 28 April Pranayam ended completing 124 episodes, from the next week he signed into play the lead role in another Malayalam serial Ammanunte Amma. He did a short stint in a Telugu serial Natachirami in Gemini TV and in Niram Maaratha Pookkal (TV series) in Zee Tamil.
