Sigilkore is a genre of rap music that originated around 2018 on the music app "Soundcloud". It rose to popularity in the summer of 2020. it uses motifs like sigils which are symbols that are said to have to have magical power. Anime characters, stars, and crosses. Colors like Black, red, grey, and purple. It's key values are casting spells in music, called hexxing. Very dark imaging: vampires, blood, spells, and even involving the names of demons. According to YouTuber "tacayamacd", they add tons of pads atop each other to create that heaven vibe. To many others, it's hard to physically listen to Sigilkore. Some songs have many sound effects in it, tons of bass, and high pitched voices. Lots of bitcrush and distortion, the artist literally sounding like demons; makes this genre like hell.

The artists of this ominous genre mostly come from a group called, "Jewelxxet". It's an underground experimental hip hop collective founded by Axxturel, also known as Luci4. Also founded by islurwhenitalk and 2shanez. The collective derives from the Spaceghostpurrp made group,"BMB Deathrow" (Black Money Boyz Deathrow)
