Shane Muller is a Sri Lankan-Australian tech entrepreneur, author, and advocate for impactful innovation and social equity.
He is known for founding SafeWatch, a mental health app, which was recognized in 2023 with the Consensus MedTech Award and the APAC Inside Australian CEO Excellence Award.[1][2][3]
Life and career
[edit]Migrating to Australia from Sri Lanka' in 1988, Shane founded Microsoft partner business, and cloud computing and cybersecurity company OBT in 1999.[4][5]
In September 2024, he launched his book, Your Unique Edge : Living Your Masterpiece which explores leadership, personal growth, and social change through technology.[6][7]
Shane has contributed to the tech, mental health and innovation spaces through podcasts and media including Business Essentials Daily, ZDNET, and 2GB Radio, and has been featured in publications such as The Big Smoke, Tech Advice, CRN and Dynamic Business.[8][9][10][11][12]
Shane is a registered marriage celebrant, and lives in Sydney, Australia, with his wife and three foster daughters.[13]
