Saturdays at your place (S@YP) is a band from Kalamazoo Michigan. Members include Esden Stafne (vox, bass), Mitch Gulish (guitar, backing vox) and Gabe Wood (vox, drums). Tyson New is the band's Manager and also produces the band's music videos and tour vlogs.
Something Worth Celebrating was self released in 2021, and initially supported by a series of basement shows in the Kalamazoo area. Fourth member Paxton Earl (guitar) contributed to the recording of the record, and played some early shows before parting ways.
The band supported the release of Something Worth Celebrating for most of 2022 with their first tour in September. Early shows included local bars and venues in Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids including Poppa Pete's and their first show at The Pyramid Scheme on March 4, 2022.
The band released It's Always Cloudy In Kalamazoo EP in January 2023, which garnered
the first nation media attention with a release notice by music site Brooklyn Vegan. The song Tarot Cards was an immediate stand out on the album in terms of streams and attention. 2023 was spent touring in support of Always Cloudy with early runs with Summerbruise, and the band's first sold out show as the headliner at The Pyramid Scheme on February 24, 2023. The fall included the first large venue tour in support of Prince Daddy & and Hyena and Free Throw
