Sakhitatva in South Indian Classical Dances is a book[1]that delves into the significance of various Sakhi characters in dance forms. The book specifically examines the portrayal of Sakhi in South Indian classical dances.[2] Sakhis are the female companions of the protagonist in poetry and drama. They often appear in Indian dance forms. The title of the text "Sakhitatva" represents the principles of companionship.
