- Comment: Youtube is not a reliable source, and the article overall lacks citations. ABG (Talk/Report any mistakes here) 01:16, 17 December 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: indiaartreview.com provides significant coverage and appears reliable to me, but YouTube is not considered a reliable source. Please review WP:RS and include two more reliable sources that offer substantial coverage of this book. – DreamRimmer (talk) 13:01, 16 November 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: Neither amazon nor other sales websites are valid sources; those links have been removed from the draft. bonadea contributions talk 14:26, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
Sakhitatva in South Indian Classical Dances is a book[1]that delves into the significance of various Sakhi characters in dance forms. The book specifically examines the portrayal of Sakhi in South Indian classical dances.[2] Sakhis are the female companions of the protagonist in poetry and drama. They often appear in Indian dance forms. The title of the text "Sakhitatva" represents the principles of companionship.
The book is a recent contribution to Indian dance literature by Dr. Vidyalakshmi E[3] from Payyannur, Kannur district in Kerala. As its appearance suggests, the definitions of different types of friendship can be used to recognize various forms of companionship in the world.
