Rouyan (Chinese: 肉燕; pinyin: ròuyàn) is a type of meat-filled wonton popular in regions of Fujian province. This Fuzhounese delicacy consists of a wonton skin, also referred to as yanpi, and a pork-based filling.[1] It is often steamed or cooked in soups on special occasions.

The wonton wrapper is typically made by hand using lean pork meat and sweet potato flour to create a smooth, glutinous texture. The type of meat using in the rouyan filling can vary, though in most cases it consists of minced pork or shrimp, seasoned with cooking wine, soy sauce, and green onion.
