Draft:Register.BG
Submission declined on 6 December 2024 by Ca (talk). This article still does not meet corporate notability guidelines. Most of the sources are simple database entries with no prose or are uploaded by the company itself. I am suspicious of the novinite source; it allows anyone to submit an article with unclear editorial management.

Wikipedia cannot accept material copied from elsewhere, unless it explicitly and verifiably has been released to the world under a suitably free and compatible copyright license or into the public domain and is written in an acceptable tone—this includes material that you own the copyright to. You should attribute the content of a draft to outside sources, using citations, but copying and pasting or closely paraphrasing sources is not acceptable. The entire draft should be written using your own words and structure. - Comment: icannwiki.org is user edited so not a reliable source, https://www.icann.org/registrants is a register, not a reliable source, www.iana.org is a database, help.superhosting.bg is a primary source Theroadislong (talk) 16:54, 15 November 2024 (UTC)

Register.BG is the organization that operates the Bulgarian National Internet Domain Registry .bg.[1] (ccTLD).
The Registry follows the model based on the Registry-Registrar-Registrant principle.[2]
The Registrant can choose a Registrar company where to register the domain name.[3][4] The Registrar, which is a company accredited by the Registry, assumes the obligation to serve the Registrant, as well as to keep the records stored in the Registry up to date. In the event that the Registrar ceases his activity, his function will be taken over by the Last Resort Registrar operated by Register.BG.
Register.BG is a member of the international Country Code Name Supporting Organization - ICANN ccNSO.[5]
Register.BG is a full member of the Council of European National Top-Level Domain Registries.[6]
History
[edit]Register.BG was founded on 11.10.2001[7]. Until then, this activity was carried out by "Digital Systems"[8] - the first Internet provider in Bulgaria, which, in addition to domain registration, also offers a wide range of network services.
After 2001, the registry functions were taken over by a newly created company, with the main focus of domain name registration and management of the .bg ccTLD zone[9]
In 2009, Register.BG launched domain names in Cyrillic script, allowing the registration of domains in the Bulgarian language.[10]
