Rajat Bhardwaj Mukherjee is an Indian politician who currently serves as the head of the Foreign Affairs Department of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in West Bengal, a position he has held since 2019[1]. He is also known for his efforts in promoting youth development through sports and advocating for minority rights, particularly those of the Bangladeshi Hindu community.

Rajat Bhardwaj Mukherjee began his political career with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in West Bengal, initially gaining prominence through his involvement in grassroots political campaigns. He served as the Spokesperson for the BJP's Siliguri Organizational District, focusing on regional political issues and helping expand the party's outreach in the area.

From 2017[2] to 2019, Mukherjee served as the Convener of the BJP's State Club Relations Cell. In this role, he worked to promote football as a means of youth empowerment, collaborating with major football clubs such as Mohun Bagan and East Bengal.
