From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

{{{1}}}

Pillow is a female contestant in Battle for BFDI and Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two.

In Battle for Dream Island, Pillow was one of the 30 recommended characters that had a chance to join the show in "The Reveal". The votes for the debut were revealed in "Reveal Novum" and she only got 6 votes which wasn't enough to join, placing her 19th to join the season.

In Battle for Dream Island Again, Pillow had the chance to join at the start of the season but she only received 79 votes which wasn't enough, placing 51st to join the season and so she was sent to the Tiny Loser Chamber.

In IDFB, Pillow is currently in the Tiny Loser Chamber due to failing to debut in BFDIA. She had a chance to join the season but only received 63 votes[1], which wasn't enough to rejoin and placed her 30th to join the season.

In Battle for BFDI, Pillow competed on Death P.A.C.T. until the split in "The Escape from Four" where she left to compete on Two's show.

In Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two, Pillow competed on Just Not until the team swap in "What's Up Bell's String?" where she was instead put on CloudYAY by One.

Personality

[edit]

Pillow can be impulsive and care little for others, such as licking Lollipop out of hunger and randomly picking up Book to look at the pictures. She is shown to be apathetic as she was very casual about dipping Price Tag into acid in "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life". She didn't seem to be capable of knowing why Price Tag would have a problem with this and nonchalantly says "That's fine" when Price Tag says they'll die.

Pillow is apathetic, carefree, and eccentric. Similar to Golf Ball, Pillow is interested in research. Her research is seemingly random and made up, such as when she misinterprets Teardrop's arm fluttering as "not caring", suggesting that it's due to "care spirits" leaving her body. She seems to enjoy taking notes, as she can be seen writing in a sketchbook when Donut infected himself with the Twinkle of Contagion, although Pillow's Official Character Guide biography mentions that she doesn't know how to write, hinting that she might draw pictures instead.[note 1] It's also hinted that Pillow is illiterate, as she picks up Book to look at the pictures instead of reading her.

Pillow also seems to have a morbid interest in death and destruction. In BFB 1, she only joined Death P.A.C.T. because she heard the word "killing".

Pillow’s fascination with death remains central to her character in this season. In "The Seven Wonders of Goiky," she reveals that if she won the limitless power, she would use it to "study how many people would be blown up with just one zap," implying a morbid desire to harm others for amusement. She believes she is more likely to succeed by killing rather than helping, as seen when she expresses a preference for damaging her team's rollercoaster instead of repairing it.

Her addiction to violence seems to stem from an unknown event between BFDIA and BFB, as she claims in "PointyPointyPointy ♫" that she would never willingly advocate for such actions. Pillow sees killing as a form of good luck, which drives her to try it repeatedly. However, after causing her team to lose in "Outbreak At Stake" and hearing that Teardrop was eliminated due to her death, Pillow begins to regret her actions, realizing her belief in killing as good luck was misguided.

Despite this, Pillow remains disgusted by the idea of doing good deeds and refuses help, even puking fluff at Book in "Oneirophobe's Nightmare." She tries other methods of good luck, like showing kindness, but continues to display her violent tendencies in smaller doses. She torments Bomby with a blender and kills Donut in "Category One." However, her violence is occasionally used to her team's advantage, such as when Winner gives her a flamethrower to kill the Dragons on the Hotel's roof.

Pillow is a big, fluffy down pillow, who is unpredictable. She can stuff objects inside her pillowcase or use it as a weapon. However, she's not all-powerful... she can't even tell which things she's allowed to eat.

Pillow likes to think of herself as a scientist, although her research is often faulty. For instance, she thought that people who waved their arms around didn't care about things. She was wrong. Not a good look for a scientist, don't you agree?

Did You Know?: Pillow doesn't know how to write.[note 1]

File:Capture54.PNG

In "Half a Loaf Is Better Than None", Pillow, along with some contestants and the other recommended characters in that episode, had an opportunity to earn 15 bonus points if they retrieved Announcer's marble collection along with Bally and Marble. Pillow (and many other recommended characters) had seemingly dissipated when she jumped into the 10-foot deep vat of hydrochloric acid.

In "Vomitaco", 2 armless clones of her are present watching the Cake at Stake for that episode.

In "The Reveal", a limbless Pillow was a spectator at the Cake at Stake for that episode. She is also one of the 30 recommended characters to join. Her audition shows her calmly breathing.

In "Reveal Novum", Pillow got 6 votes, along with Balloony and Eggy, and was sent to the Locker of Losers.

In "Return of the Hang Glider", Pillow watches the final Cake at Stake.

Battle for Dream Island Again

[edit]

In "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know", she obtains only 79 votes to join, not enough. She is treated with TLC along with the others who failed to join.

In "Intruder Alert", Pillow is briefly shown inside the TLC.

In "Well, Look Who It Is!", Pillow is briefly shown inside the TLC. She doesn't get any lines, but gets annoyed when Cake blocks TV's screen.

In "PointyPointyPointy ♫", she says that she will 'never advocate for death'. Later on, Pillow notices non-sentient pillows on Dora's island, fascinated that there's more pillows outside than inside.

IDFB

[edit]

In "Welcome Back", Pillow makes several cameo appearances in the Tiny Loser Chamber. Pillow was up for rejoining, along with all of the other TLC prisoners in the Locker of Losers. Although the season is currently on hiatus, she ended up getting 63 votes, placing 30th (to see spoiler texts, hover over it or highlight it with your cursor).

Battle for BFDI

[edit]
File:Pillow in BFB 1.jpg

In "Getting Teardrop to Talk", she is first seen explaining arm fluttering to Lollipop and Eggy, wrongly explaining that arm fluttering means that the object does not care. She also claims that it may be impossible to get Teardrop's attention. When Barf Bag argues that Teardrop did care, Pillow says her idea is "ludicrous", and when she flutters her arms at them, Pillow says that Barf Bag does not care - "Look, the fluttery arms, she does not care!"

Pillow tells Coiny to show some respect when he arm flutters after Four kills Pin, even though he was trying to get her back. When Four is about to screech again, Pillow covers his mouth with her body, only to end up dead herself. Four then recovers her, along with Pin and Balloony. She walks into Liy's team after she hears the word "killing". Before the challenge, when Saw, Book, and Teardrop flutter their arms, Pillow says that the teams are all set. At some point after her team wins the challenge first, she asks why Firey doesn't care when he arm flutters at Loser.

In "Lick Your Way to Freedom", Pillow only appears in the stinger ending with some of the other contestants.

In "Why Would You Do This on a Swingset", Pillow looks angrily at someone offscreen, presumably Gelatin since he’s killed her teammates with Forks. She’s sprayed with fork repellent by Liy and has an angry smile when Gelatin’s forks are repelled away. During Beep’s Cake at Stake, Pillow mentions that the votes are nearly double the total amount they got last time.

In "Today's Very Special Episode", she is first seen gliding across the screen after Cake at Stake, saying "She didn't care".

She has more of a role than in previous episodes, defending Four from the barrage of Forks. Later, after Team Ice Cube! is deemed safe, Pillow announces that she will stay to buy time while Pen, Bottle, Tree, and Remote run to Black Hole and tell him to suck up the forks. Despite her team's valiant efforts to prevent Four from getting stabbed by even one fork, Pillow's team is up for elimination, due to Pen's sub-par Four drawing.

In "Fortunate Ben", Pillow and the rest of her team are told to assemble, for it was Cake at Stake. Otherwise, they would "tremble". After Four and X mock Pen for his drawing, Pillow says to pick up the pace and asks how many votes they got. She receives 1,300 votes, the second-least. She reads her fortune out loud: "Go Icy, you're my idol!" She comments that her fortune is odd, but Four tells Pillow she is odd, offending her.

Shortly after Foldy and Stapy smile after Liy's elimination, Pillow announces that Liy can do more than just be a light switch.

File:Pillopper.png
Pillow with a popper inside of her

In "Four Goes Too Far", Pillow can be seen writing notes as Donut injects himself with the Twinkle of Contagion.

In "The Liar Ball You Don't Want", she puts a popper inside her, making her face puff out. She is later seen with Pen and Remote, the latter with the Liar Ball. After Robot Flower loses connection to Remote, Pillow is seen with the ball. Thanks to Remote, her team successfully gets the ball into A Better Name Than That's undefended goal, with Pillow saying "Take that, Better Namers!"

In "This Episode Is About Basketball", she and Pen are angry at Tree for not doing his part in the challenge. She also scolded Pen for throwing the balls at Black Hole. However, after they realized that Tree can't do anything for her team, she, along with Pen and Pie, throw balls into the basket.

In "Enter the Exit", she is seen having a cup of tea with Stapy. Later, while everyone looks for a way to bring back Four, she licks Lollipop. When Lollipop asks her how that would bring back Four, Pillow just says "What? Bring Four back? I was just hungry."

Pillow is absent in "Get to the Top in 500 Steps", despite the rest of Death P.A.C.T. appearing.

In "What Do You Think of Roleplay?", after Bottle is smashed by "Tree", she takes the fortune cookie inside of her for herself.

In "Return of the Rocket Ship", Pillow directly insults Four by calling the contest "predictable" and Four responds by rising from the background (also being very large), opening his mouth to lift Pillow with his tongue, screeching at Pillow very loudly, and then "swallowing" Pillow. Four then calls Pillow "incorrect", sarcastically finishing his challenge explanation.

Pillow's disappearance is later brought up by Black Hole. When Black Hole tells Four to recover Pillow, Four states that Pillow is still alive. This prompts Tree to go investigate Four's mouth, and Pen quickly does so by telling Four "five is greater than four," making Four open his mouth in a screech.

In "The Four is Lava", it is shown that the other members of Death P.A.C.T. have already found Pillow and are now just taking their time inside of Four in The Fourest. Pillow spots a trail of signs with Ice Cube's name and follows them to the EXIT. Just as she is about to open the door, Four grabs her with his finger and throws the team out of his mouth, which made them safe from elimination.

Pillow also made an earlier appearance in Teardrop's happy thought, where she tells Teardrop to stop smashing Glass only to get smashed herself.

File:15pil4.png

In "The Escape from Four", Pillow walks to Five to inspect them struggling to suck up Spongy. She also helps with attempting to free the eliminated contestants by pulling on Spongy's leg. Pillow later quits BFB and switches to TPOT. When Tree is convinced "as bark" into joining Two's show, Pillow tells Tree that bark isn't impressive, which makes Tree shush her.

Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two

[edit]

In "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", while the contestants are making teams, Pillow abandons Death P.A.C.T. after Pen leaves and Fanny joins. She later grabs Book and starts flipping through her pages. She eventually puts her down and Book tells her that she'd appreciate if she didn't just read her. Pillow responds that she was just looking at the pictures. Book then decides that they should get on a team and Pillow points out Naily's team, which has enough spots for both of them. During the challenge, Pillow's team takes the elevator but it gets stuck when Snowball pries the doors open. They eventually make it to the top of the building thanks to Snowball and Basketball. Throughout the elevator chaos, Pillow is the only one who shows no reaction to the elevator stopping and is the only who is having fun when the elevator lands on Basketball. At the ending, Pillow smacks Two with a tray.

In "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", Pillow is first seen walking to the elevator before Two starts the intro. During the challenge, Pillow decides to wander off for no apparent reason and Price Tag decides to walk alongside her. Both are later seen dumping items into some acid. Pillow then grabs Price Tag with the intention of putting them in. Price Tag says they'll die but Pillow doesn't mind. The members of Death P.A.C.T Again witness her killing Price Tag and tell her to stop. After dumping a recommended character into the acid, Black Hole insists that she does something else, and she reluctantly leaves. The Death P.A.C.T Again members decide that someone needs to follow Pillow to stop her from killing anyone else and Remote volunteers. Pillow eventually walks back to her team with Remote still following her. With six blocks stacked, Pillow's team was safe.

File:Pillow in TPOT 3.jpg

In "Getting Puffball To Think About Rollercoasters", when Donut says that Two's challenge solves the problem of blocks being everywhere and causing death, Pillow says that he has convinced her that they should keep the blocks, which annoys him. When Book says their team is falling behind, Pillow suggests shredding her as an attraction, and Nickel responds by saying he loves creating anagrams. When their team instead decides to get prizes, Pillow follows them to the hotel. When Nickel says value is in the eye of the beholder, Pillow asks if he truly believes that or is saying it because he's a nickel, and Nickel admits it's a bit of both.

As the challenge is ending, when Book asks if they can just take garbage, Pillow clarifies that they're taking garbage and a jawbreaker, and a battery or two. Naily sarcastically calls that brilliant. When Nickel tells everyone to grab the garbage and Robot Flower, Pillow asks why he said to grab the same thing twice. As Two is reviewing the attractions, Pillow suggests they ride on Are You Okay's rollercoaster, and Naily calls it a good idea since it'll be dangerous and Are You Okay will lose. Pillow, however, suggested it because she wants them to die. Two says they love the idea. When Two gets to Just Not's attraction, they ask if it is garbage, and Pillow responds "Yeah!" Just Not gets a 3/10, placing 5th.

In "Gardening Zero", Pillow is busy showing Book and Cake how to play Yoyle Chess. Nickel arrives and asks why it has to be done on top of the dangerous rollercoaster. Instead of answering, Pillow shouts that a car is coming as Yellow Face rides down the track. She grabs the game, Book, and Cake and moves them out of the way and onto a safer part of the track. Intentionally leaving Nickel behind to get hit because he questioned the rules of Yoyle Chess.

Pillow’s team is sent to the desert to protect their Funny Plant, however Pillow has very little interest in helping as she’d rather continue with playing with Cake, often rigging the game in her favor when no one is looking. She also expresses interest in the fact that there is a supposed cursed Yellow Face skeleton that she has never seen before. Cake ends up collecting water from said skeleton and pours it on their plant, killing it, so Just Not is up for elimination.

File:Pillow in TPOT 5.jpg

In "Fishes and Dishes", Pillow is first shown blowing up Bomby, obliterating herself and a Funny Plant. She then shatters one of the six plates Two got for the benches. Two stops them from doing the same with the other five. In Cake at Stake, Pillow is the first safe on her team with 3,211 votes. She assists Two in making the area less cramped by tossing the safe contestants off the Hotel, with Two saving each of them with a strand of Ramen Noodles. When Cake at Stake is over, Pillow cuts the noodles, causing the contestants to fall into the pool. The splash sends all of the plates down a path that eventually causes them to land in the Goiky Canal.

During the challenge, Cake tells Pillow that she might've saved their team. Pillow says she always goes out of her way to help others, juxtaposed to her immediately blowing up Bomby for the second time. Cake then explains that they should get really high up into the sky and splash into the water to find the plates. An idea he got because Pillow caused a huge splash when she caused several contestants to fall into the pool earlier. Pillow clarifies that she only meant to kill people. Pillow changes the definition of gravity inside Book to something they can mess with. This allows her and the rest of the team to break the laws of gravity by tossing items repeatedly, allowing them to infinitely climb into the sky.

They run into several obstacles along the way. Puffball and Fries attempt to sabotage the team, firstly by biting onto Nickel. Pillow ignites and throws Bomby at Puffball, making her drop Nickel. A dragon appears, so Pillow throws Cake at it, causing him to splatter across its face, making it fly out of the way. Puffball and Fries attempt to interfere again, but Pillow throws Price Tag at Fries, knocking him off of Puffball. It's now down to only Puffball and Pillow, but Pillow isn't worried. Puffball is confused as to what Pillow is even doing at this point and is only wondering what she's hoping to achieve by flying higher into sky, far from any of the plates. Pillow suddenly stops and tells Puffball that while it's fun to mess with gravity, it's also sometimes fun to let nature do its thing as intended. Allowing herself to fall from the sky and into the Goiky Canal. The long fall allows her to sink deep enough to find one of the plates and she brings it to Two, making her team safe.

In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", Pillow plays Goiky's Dragon with her team. She ends up causing everyone to die in the game thanks to her wanting to blow up Bomby to slay the dragon. It is then revealed that they’re not only playing inside of Tree, but that they are also very small. After Two shakes them out, they are returned back to their normal size with Two's help. For the challenge, the team decides to kill the dragon they saw last episode so that they can cook and serve it to Two. They are accompanied by song that narrates their journey to the dragon, but it starts to become a hindrance as it starts to force them to take long, unnecessary, dangerous paths that serve no use.

File:Pillow and the Goiky Dragon TPOT 6.jpg

Eventually they, choose to stop listening to the song and finally reach the dragon. Pillow throws Cake at the dragon and the dragon melts him with its fire breath. Cake's remains get lodged in the dragon's throat, causing it to fall out of the sky and lie incapacitated. Just as Pillow is about to finish the dragon off by blowing it up with Bomby, Nickel puts out her match and allows Bomby to help the dragon. Bomby removes Cake's remains and the chocolate ball stuck in its throat, allowing it to fly away happily. Pillow is unsatisfied as they didn't get to kill it, meaning they have nothing to serve Two. Bomby proposes that they serve Cake's remains with a chocolate ball on top.

Pillow carries Cake's remains back to the competition, after narrowly dodging Four's zaps, with Fanny thinking Just Not killed him. Two is hesitant to eat Cake's remains and considers giving Just Not a low score. Pillow tells Two that would make Cake unhappy, so Two decides to give them a 3/10. Despite the low score, it's enough to make Just Not safe. In the stinger, Pillow is mutilated by Four.

In "The Seven Wonders of Goiky", during the intro, Robot Flower approaches her and Eraser, asking what they would do if they won limitless power. Pillow responds with "I'd love to conduct some research with it!", before imagining zapping a group of various characters while flying in the air. As Two is commenting on the destruction Lightning caused during his elimination, Pillow compliments it, however Two quickly shushes her.

During the challenge, the team is discussing trading the blocks from previous episodes for better things, and Pillow chimes in by suggesting that they damage it more, to which nobody agrees. Later, as she's walking to the hotel with her team, Fanny calls her up asking for assistance with killing. Pillow immediately agrees, and leaves her team to do so, despite Book protesting this. Later, she arrives to the desert, greeting Death P.A.C.T. Again and explaining her research on the positives of death. Black Hole refutes against her beliefs, however Fanny defends them, to which her and Pillow both grab Tree by the leg and begin to pull him away from the others, intending to kill him.

Black Hole attempts to save Tree from this by sucking him up at his request, which Pillow taunts before leaving back to her team. Just before the end of the challenge, Pillow arrives at the amusement park, and upon seeing the destroyed rollercoaster, she compliments it, congratulating them on their good work. Despite her liking to it, Just Not is placed up for elimination.

In "Balancing P.A.C.T.", during the cake at stake, she is announced safe and as Two throws her, Nickel and Price Tag, their prize: glue. Yellow Face grabs it from them and taunts them. This upsets her, making her threaten him. Later, during Cake's elimination speech, she mocks him by mimicking him and doing strange faces, however Two accidentally crushes him which makes her smile in delight. During the challenge, Book explains that they can't research as she's glued shut, and Pillow reassures her that she has her own research.

File:Pillow in TPOT 8.jpg

She explains that the best way to balance on something is to hang below it, to which the entire team, except for her, all do so. Bomby questions why she isn't doing it as well, which she elaborates that most of her studies have been proven incorrect, and that she wanted to try something else. She then jumps across the balance beam, and lands in front of Robot Flower, greeting her and pulling out her notepad, and begins asking her about her violent tendencies. However, Robot Flower doesn't respond, instead crushing her and causing her to fall into the water below, disqualifying her.

In "Outbreak at Stake", she and the rest of her team all seek refuge inside of Gelatin's Steakhouse from the outbreak. After the intro, as Two attempts to explain the contest to the team through poor connection, Pillow misinterprets the challenge as "completely wiping out your team", and then breaks the screen Two was communicating from, unsettling Book and Nickel. Afterwards, Book tries to reason with the team, however as the lights flicker out Pillow and their other team members all vanish. Later, Nickel is attempting to sleep through the contest using a bed he found, and he accidentally mistakes Pillow for an actual pillow. However, once he realizes that it's her, she slams him against the headboard multiple times, killing him. She then starts to approach Book, commenting about how her glue will make for good armor, eventually cornering her.

Although the scene fades out, it's implied that she killed her. Later, she is summoned by Price Tag attempting to tell everyone that the challenge is to stay alive, and she is seen with pieces of Book glued haphazardly to her. She approaches them, and immediately lunges at them, eventually finding the deceased body of Barbecue Sauce and using it as a weapon against them. However, Price Tag deflects and rips out a large chunk of her using this, causing her to faint. Later, as Bomby is talking with Price Tag, she suddenly appears and rips Price Tag in half, before threatening Bomby and then chasing after him down a flight of stairs. She then corners him, and threatens him again, however he opposes this by igniting his own fuse and exploding the steakhouse along with Pillow.

In "Oneirophobe's Nightmare", during the intro, she and the rest of her team are recovered by Marker. Nickel immediately confronts her about the previous episode, to which she justifies herself by saying it was for the challenge, but Bell notifies her that her team lost the challenge. Due to this, she comes to the realization that her previous research about death bring good luck was wrong. This revelation is very shocking to her, making her upset and completely unresponsive, even as Nickel, and later Bomby scold her. However, during Cake at Stake, she questions her research, to which Nickel immediately dismisses it, hoping she's eliminated. Book recommends that she research other ways of bringing good luck, suggesting doing a good deed, which Pillow complies with by attaching Price Tag's Cake at Stake prize, a Moon shard, to the roof of the hotel. This excites Two, making them ramble on about how sweet it was of her, and she is announced safe.

File:Pillow in TPOT 10.jpg

Book tells her doing a good deed might've worked, which disgusts Pillow so much she vomits stuffing onto her and passes out. While Nickel is being eliminated, he yells for his team to get Pillow out, which Pillow dismisses by shrugging and exclaiming "Awkward!", which prompts a laugh track. In Book's nightmare, she uses process of elimination to deduce that Book doesn't seem to be there. She then tells the team to look around, assuming that Book, who is trapped in a jawbreaker, isn't there at all. However, she begins to ponder new strategies of bringing good luck, to which Bomby criticizes this by telling her that Book already gave her a new strategy, but Pillow dismisses it.

Pillow, Bomby, and Price Tag all try out various strategies together, those being; dancing, destroying the environment, starnapping, and bowling, all the while not noticing Book trying to get their attention. Eventually, after Price Tag realizes that Book might be in the jawbreaker, and Pillow announces that the next experiment was licking, and instructs everyone to do so. This frees Book from the jawbreaker, causing her to believe that licking brings good luck. Afterwards, when Book questions where her old team members were, Pillow confirms that they're all alone, and Book begins to walk away in disappointment. However, she wants to test if licking is the solution to good luck, so she runs up to Book and licks the side of her face, which annoys her, confirming that it isn't the solution.

After Just Not is announced as up for elimination, Two appears in Book's dream to offer to teleport them out, but Pillow turns down this offer in favour of seeing if Book's suggestion will work. She then approaches Price Tag, and begins explaining Book's nightmare to them sympathetically, instructing them to talk to her. When they try to talk themself out of it, Pillow pushes them to talk to her anyways, which they oblige. Later, she and Bomby watch the two bond, and he questions how this will bring good luck, which Pillow doesn't have a definite answer for. However, she seemingly summons a blender, which as he's about to question it, she throws him into it and begins to blend him until the dream comes to an end.

In "What's Up Bell's String?," Pillow finds herself in the bottom two during Cake at Stake, yet remains unbothered. Two remarks on Just Not's consistent losing streak, prompting Bomby to sarcastically comment to Pillow: "Gee, I wonder why." Pillow dismisses it as one of life's greatest mysteries. The votes are displayed, revealing that Pillow survives with 10,157 votes, and so she quietly exits via Bell's string.

Later, during the team swap, Pillow joins a new team that is eventually named CloudYAY. Her new teammates nominate Donut as the team leader. When Donut asks if she's okay with that, Pillow agrees, adding that she would love to observe a team with bad leadership.

As the challenge begins, Pillow stands idly by until she is suddenly whisked away by Ice Cube. The two glide away together as Pillow waves goodbye to the rest of her team. They continue gliding until they are stopped by the presence of the moon. Ice Cube sighs in relief, commenting that she thought that would never end. Suddenly, Pillow picks her up, prompting Ice Cube to ask what she's doing. Pillow dismisses her concerns and throws Ice Cube into the moon, which has a large hole in it. Pillow apologizes to Ice Cube, saying it was strictly personal, and walks away.

File:Pillow in TPOT 12.jpg
"shut up."

As Pillow departs, she encounters Price Tag and the rest of Ice Cube's team, who are busy searching for her. Pillow greets them and tells them that Ice Cube is in the moon before continuing on her way. Later, she reunites with her team, but they are abruptly approached by Pen and Needle. Pen informs them that their pit contains his team's tree and demands its return, but Pillow quickly tells him to shut up.

Pen and Needle then turn to Barf Bag and Donut and start attacking them. As they fight, Barf Bag tells them that they don't have time for this because they need to watch the timer. Pillow stares at the hourglass and considers flipping it, but decides against it. Because of this, the challenge ends, and CloudYAY lose, along with 🎶🎶Word, due to their pits being merged. As a result, both teams are put up for elimination.

In "Category One," Two introduces CloudYAY to their newest team member, Pencil, while Pillow is seen violently tearing Donut in half. Later, during the cake at stake, Pillow is announced as the third contestant safe, with 14,878 votes. As Two opens the door, the sign for Gelatin's Steakhouse suddenly comes flying in, hitting both Pillow and Winner.

As the storm outside grows more violent, various creatures attempt to break into the hotel, prompting a new challenge: stopping the wildlife from reaching Two's room and disturbing their rest. Two introduces the contestants to their bedtime milk, noting that it always puts them to sleep instantly. Curious, Pillow drinks the milk and immediately falls asleep, but is quickly slapped awake by Pencil.

CloudYAY is assigned to protect the hotel from the dragons, so the team head to the elevator leading to the roof, where the dragons are flying overhead. Upon reaching the roof, Golf Ball immediately begins strategizing, however Donut interrupts, suggesting that others should have a chance to propose ideas. This sparks an argument between the two, with Golf Ball insisting that Donut is wasting time. The heated exchange continues until Pillow, without saying a word, shoves both Golf Ball and Donut out of the elevator and closes the door.

After Pillow pushes Golf Ball and Donut out of the elevator, the rest of CloudYAY head back inside the hotel. As they regroup, Yellow Face opens a portal to his ad dimension, allowing Winner and Pencil to step through. Once inside, Winner uses Pencil to quickly sketch a rope. Pillow, waiting on the other side, grabs the rope and requests some weapons she can use to defend herself against the dragons. Winner, eager to assist, begins drawing a flamethrower for Pillow.

Once the flamethrower is complete, Winner proudly declares it a masterpiece. Yellow Face enthusiastically agrees, shaking Pillow in excitement. Annoyed, Pillow tells him to get off and tosses him aside before picking up the flamethrower. Without warning, she fires it at Winner, who reacts with mild surprise. They tell her that wasn’t very nice and Pillow quickly apologizes, explaining that she was merely testing the weapon.

File:PillowSlaysADragon.png

Yellow Face ties one end of the rope to a stake and the other to Pillow’s leg, securing her in place before they all get back into the elevator. When they reach the top floor, Pillow readies the flamethrower, stepping cautiously outside as the wind howls around her. The gusts lift her into the air, but the rope prevents her from being swept away entirely. Facing the dragon, Pillow unleashes the flamethrower, but the dragon effortlessly dodges her attacks, growing increasingly furious. As the beast snarls, Winner shouts words of encouragement, urging Pillow to keep firing.

As Pillow continues battling the dragon, Winner notices the rope tied to her leg is starting to loosen. Alarmed, Winner warns her to be cautious. Acting quickly, Winner, Pencil and Yellow Face grab hold of the rope tightly, but the powerful wind sweeps all three of them into the air and they land on the dragon's back. This irritates the dragon further and it starts thrashing around. As they attempt to hold on, they accidentally crash into the David, causing him to topple over and land on TV, electrocuting him and triggering a small explosion.

Amid the chaos, a fish monster is flung onto the dragon, but CloudYAY manages to catch it before it can cause harm. In the midst of the chaos, they purposely hurl the fish monster into Two's room, knowing full well that it was Team 2's job to keep it out. Meanwhile, Two is enjoying a peaceful sleep but is suddenly jolted awake by the ruckus. Upon realizing that Team 2 has failed in their duty, Two furiously puts them up for elimination. Once the storm finally subsides, CloudYAY is announced as safe, while Team 2 faces the fallout of their mishap.

In "I SAID CAREFUL!!!," the elimination of Eraser and Gaty is revealed. Book notices the missing posters of past eliminated contestants and suggests everyone should take steps to protect the eliminated contestants from potential threats. This sparks a heated debate among the group, with each contestant eager to take on the responsibility of protecting Eraser. Conch Shell claims Eraser, saying they will handle the protection, but Pillow snatches Eraser away from Conch Shell, calling them a "reject." Pencil kicks Pillow away, insisting she will handle the protection herself. Despite all the commotion, both Eraser and Gaty remain safe and do not go missing.

In the challenge, teams are tasked with reaching the summit of either the mountain or the volcano, to claim the flag that awaits at each peak and secure immunity. While the other three teams choose the mountain, CloudYAY opts for the volcano. They begin their journey in the CloudYAY Mega Supervan, which, despite its poor condition, initially starts the trip smoothly. However, the van unexpectedly explodes, sending the team back to the starting point. Despite this setback, Pillow continues on foot and begins ascending the volcano, followed by the rest of her teammates, except Golf Ball.

The group of five encounter a wobbly and unstable bridge during their ascent. While they consider finding an alternative route, Pillow suddenly pushes everyone onto the bridge. With no choice, Pencil and Donut carefully cross, but Pillow, Winner, and Yellow Face relentlessly shake the bridge, ignoring Pencil’s protests. Their antics cause everyone to lose their footing and fall into the lava below.

Later, Pillow and the others are recovered by Winner, the only one immune to lava, and they restart their climb. Upon reaching the bridge again, Winner throws each teammate across to the other side before making their own way over. They come across a pool of lava with no bridge, where they are confronted by a massive lava monster. While everyone is shocked, Pillow throws Pencil into the monster's mouth, killing her. The others are stunned, but before they can strategize, the lava monster devours Pillow, Winner, and Yellow Face, forcing Donut to go back and recover them.

Once everyone is recovered, they finally decide to follow Golf Ball's plan instead of returning to the volcano. It's revealed that she has built a drill to assist them in the challenge, and they all climb inside. The drill begins to burrow into the volcano, but Donut soon starts feeling the heat intensify around him. Pillow, noticing this, takes a bite out of Donut, calling the taste "cooked to perfection."

Donut, in agony, warns the team that he's in serious pain. Pencil suggests they should put him out of his misery, a proposal that Pillow quickly agrees with. However, Winner intervenes, stopping Pillow before she can act. In that moment, Donut explodes from the heat, sending the team into a panic. While everyone else screams in terror, Pillow calmly stands by, licking the cherry filling from her face with a smile.

Disoriented, Pencil frantically starts pressing random buttons, causing the drill to veer off course. In a panic, the others begin pressing buttons as well, hoping one of them will fix the issue, but it only makes things worse as the drill spirals out of control. The group soon realizes that Donut was right—the temperature has reached dangerously high levels. But before they can take any further action, the drill comes into contact with lava, and they meet their tragic end.

Later, Pillow and the rest of the group are recovered by Two. When she learns that the other three teams have formed an alliance against her team, she takes immediate action. Pencil kills Marker, and Pillow uses his lifeless body as a weapon to kill Grassy. Moments later, Book traps Pillow in her pages, killing her, but Donut quickly recovers her.

Upon recovery, Pillow notices Price Tag amidst the chaos. Realizing what’s about to happen, Price Tag attempts to flee, but Pillow ruthlessly tears them in half. Pillow then tries to use Pin's point to shatter Ice Cube but misses. Ice Cube recovers Snowball, and he retaliates by throwing the recovery center at Pillow, killing her. She is quickly recovered by Pencil.

Just as the conflict intensifies, a massive plant appears, killing Pencil along with several other contestants. Pillow confronts the plant and wraps herself around it, causing the plant to struggle for air. As this unfolds, Black Hole tells Pillow not to kill it, but the plant rips Pillow apart, ending her life before hopping away.

Despite the combined efforts of the other teams to stop them, CloudYAY ultimately emerges victorious, with Winner securing the volcano flag. As a result, Pillow is safe from elimination.

Trivia

[edit]

Comparisons

[edit]
  • Similarly to Rocky, Pillow does not know how to write.[2][note 1]
  • Pillow and Pin were the first two contestants to be recovered by Four and the first two female contestants to get the most votes to stay in TPOT.
  • Pillow is one of the eight characters who own a phone, along with Coiny, Two, Flower, Fanny, Leafy, Fries, and Barf Bag.
  • Pillow is the fifth character to vomit, after Pin, Rocky, Puffball Speaker Box, Ruby, and Pencil.
  • Pillow and Cake are the only characters to be seen blushing canonically so far.

Competition

[edit]
  • Pillow, Cake, Clock, Eggy, and Taco are currently the only contestants who have competed on multiple teams but never with a former teammate.
    • Out of all these contestants, Pillow has been on the most amount of different teams at 3.
  • Pillow avoided being up for elimination for the second longest amount of time out of the BFB contestants. She hadn't lost since "Fortunate Ben" and was finally up for voting again in "Gardening Zero". The only contestant who lasted longer is Pen, who lost one episode after her in "Fishes and Dishes".
    • This means Pillow took to the longest to lose again out of the female BFB contestants.
  • Pillow currently holds the record for the lowest amount of save votes received in an episode, despite being the most voted to stay on a team, at 3,211 votes.
  • Pillow has been up for elimination the most times in row in TPOT so far, at 3.
  • Pillow is the sixth contestant to get the most votes to stay twice in a row. The others are Firey, Leafy, Gelatin, Grassy, and Yellow Face.
  • In "Balancing P.A.C.T.", Pillow became the first female contestant to get the most votes out of two teams.
  • "Oneirophobe's Nightmare", marked Pillow's first time not being one of the first two contestants safe, let alone it also being her first time not having the most votes in TPOT.
    • Regardless, she still manages to always be one of the first three contestants safe in every Cake at Stake she's in.
  • Out of the entire first team phase of TPOT, Pillow, Pin, and Book were the only females to be safe with the most votes at least once.
  • Pillow is the only female member of CloudYAY who has never been the first boot from any team she's been on.

General

[edit]
  • Pillow believes that fluttering arms indicate a lack of care in someone.
  • There is an official throw and floor pillow of Pillow on Redbubble. It can be found and purchased here.
  • Pillow appears to only be a pillowcase, with nothing inside of her. This is evidenced by how she was able to stick a popper inside of her without having it hit any substance.
    • This is contradicted in "Outbreak At Stake" where she is shown to have actual stuffing inside of her when she's cut open with a glass bottle.
  • It is unknown if Pillow wants to prevent death. This is due to her joining Death P.A.C.T. because she heard someone say "killing".
  • In "Four Goes Too Far" and "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", Pillow can be seen writing in a notebook. Given that she apparently doesn't know how to write, it brings into question what exactly she's writing down.
    • However, in "Fishes and Dishes", Pillow is shown writing words inside of Book, and they are coherent enough to read.
  • In "Enter the Exit", Pillow speaks with a higher than usual pitch.
  • According to the Battle for Dream Island: Official Character Guide, Pillow can use her pillowcase as a weapon.
  • In "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", Pillow is revealed to not have a heart.
  • In "The Seven Wonders of Goiky", Pillow's phone number is revealed to be 2,763 by Fanny.
  • She is currently the only character in TPOT being voiced by Cindy Jiang as the only other contestant who was voiced by Cindy Jiang, Foldy, got eliminated in "Getting Puffball To Think About Rollercoasters".
  • In "Oneirophobe's Nightmare", it is revealed that Pillow vomits fluff instead of normal vomit.
  • Pillow is the 4th left-handed character, with the others being Lollipop, Pie, and Needle.
  • The first death she encountered was Pan Flute's death, but that was the only death she didn't like so far.
