Nehru Yuva Kendra Baghpat is an autonomous body established in 2016 in the Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh, India. It operates under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, and is part of the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS). NYKS was established in 1987-88 as an autonomous body to oversee the functioning of Nehru Yuva Kendras across India. The organization is the largest grassroots-level youth network globally and works on principles of voluntarism, self-help, and community participation. Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya currently serves as the Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, with Smt. Raksha Khadse as the State Minister.
Nehru Yuva Kendra Baghpat focuses on engaging rural youth in social, cultural, and educational activities aimed at fostering community development and youth empowerment. Under the leadership of the appointed District Youth Officer, Arun Kumar Tiwari, the Kendra has established youth clubs in each village within its operational area. These clubs are managed by local youth and work on initiatives tailored to local needs in collaboration with government departments and other agencies. Udaan Youth Club is one of the affiliated youth clubs of Nehru Yuva Kendra Baghpat, based in Village Tyodhi.
