Terryon Ishmael Thomas[1] (born February 28, 2004), known professionally as Mr. Prada or Prada, is an American social media influencer and TikTok personality. He is known for his Comedic skits and commentary on Relationships, School Life, and Gen Z culture.[2]
Early Life
[edit]Thomas was born on February 28, 2004, in Newellton, Louisiana.[3][a]
Career
[edit]2022–2024: Rise to Fame, Popularity and Murder
[edit]Thomas began his TikTok career in December 2022, quickly gaining popularity for his comedic skits and his relatable content.[4]
Thomas was arrested in October 2024 in connection with the murder of 69-year-old therapist William Nicholas Abraham. Abraham's body was discovered wrapped in a tarp along a highway in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana.[5][6]
Abraham was last seen entering Thomas's apartment complex on a Saturday. Witnesses reported seeing Thomas later that day dragging a blue tarp down the stairs and placing it in Abraham's car. Investigators found signs of a struggle and blood throughout Thomas's apartment, indicating a violent altercation.[7][8]
After Abraham's body was discovered, authorities identified his black Lincoln vehicle as missing. The vehicle was later spotted at a shopping center, and surveillance footage led to Thomas being identified as a person of interest. When police attempted to apprehend him, Thomas fled, leading to a chase and subsequent arrest in Dallas, Texas.[5]
Thomas was initially charged with second-degree murder and obstruction of justice. However, due to Louisiana's laws regarding victims aged 65 or older, the charges were upgraded to first-degree murder, making Thomas eligible for the death penalty.[9]
Regarding a 2015 arrest involving Abraham, his former attorney clarified that Thomas was not the individual who had accused Abraham of inappropriate conduct during a counseling session. The 2015 case did not result in formal charges against Abraham.[10]
The motive for the murder remains unclear. There is no evidence to suggest that Thomas was a client of Abraham.[5]
As of December 2024, Thomas remains in custody, awaiting trial for the murder of William Nicholas Abraham.
