Maral Salmassi (born 24 July 1975 in Teheren) is an Iran-born German producer, Rapper und DJ. Her carrier started in 1994 in Cologne as a DJ. After founding the label Konsequent Records in 1997 she became co-founder of the Cologne-based oldschool[disambiguation needed] electro und Miami Bass record distribution company Formic Distribution. She started the record label Art of Perception and published The Sound Of Warhammer 40000 - a soundtrack series in co-operation with the game producer Games Workshop - containing soundtracks by Jimi Tenor, Kim Cascone, Bochum Welt, Alter Ego, Christian Morgenstern und Andrew Weatherall . In 2002 she founded the record label Television Records releasing music of John Starlight also known under Zombie Nation, Quesh, Kitbuilders, Dr. Shingo and Codec & Flexor.[1][2][3]
