Rishi Manu Vishwakarma is considered the originator of the Sanag Gotra.[1] This gotra is primarily associated with expertise in ironwork and engineering. Lord Vishwakarma is revered as the deity of construction and craftsmanship, and those belonging to his lineage are skilled in working with iron and other metals.[1]
