Luka Rajić (Serbian Cyrillic: Лука Рајић; born 23. October 1998) is a Belgrade based Serbian singer-songwriter. As of June 2023. Luka is signed under Universal Music Serbia.[1]
Career
[edit]2019-2022: Career beginnings
[edit]The beginning of Luka's music career was marked with several singles and two EPs "Eksplozija emocija" and "Ludim od kluba".[2]
2023-2024: Deca novog milenijuma
[edit]In December 2023, Luka Rajić released the first single "Časna reč" for his upcoming debut album, followed with three more singles in 2024. "Slobodan pad", "Rituali" and "Leto je gotovo". All of the singles were accompanied with a music video. The album was released on 6. of September totalling 10 songs.[4]
As described by Luka, "Deca novog milenijuma is a kind of diary of the 20s",[2] in which the young singer-songwriter says that the new generations among us are awake, thirsty and full of dreams. In the album, Rajić brings songs about the issues of his generation.[5]
The album is the result of creative collaboration with his brother Igor Rajić, an up-and-coming producer, and acclaimed musicians such as A.N.D.R., who won the award for best new artist in 2023. Luka also brought together multidisciplinary artists, such as Emilija Terzić, who dealt with the visual aspect and poetry of the album. Also, the songs are enriched by the musical contribution of Emilija Đonin (KOIKOI) and Filip Bulatović of MAPO.[2]
