This is a list of breweries in North Macedonia. As of 2024, the country's beer market is primarily served by several key breweries, with a mixture of both local and international ownership. Below is an overview of the most notable breweries operating in the country.
Major Breweries
[edit]- Skopje Brewery – Established in 1922, it is one of the oldest and most iconic breweries in the country. Pivara Skopje produces Skopsko beer and a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including Coca-Cola. It is jointly owned by Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company and Heineken.[1]
- Prilepska Pivarnica – Founded in 1924, Prilepska Pivarnica is located in Prilep. It is known for producing Zlaten Dab (Golden Oak), one of the most popular beers in the country. The brewery also produces soft drinks.[2]
- Bitola Brewery – Established in the early 20th century, this brewery in Bitola is known for producing regional beer brands, with distribution limited mainly to the southern part of the country.[3]
