Laura Müller is a German engineer for the MoneyGram HAAS F1 Racing Team. She is from Lake Constance, Germany.[1] She has been involved with HAAS since January 2022.[2] Her previous role at Haas has been as a performance engineer and she will be the Race Engineer for Esteban Ocon in the 2025 Formula One season. This marks the first time a woman has taken on the role of race engineer in the history of modern Formula One racing.

She previously worked in engineering roles in the European Le Mans Series at the levels LMP3 and LMP2. Müller was part of Manthey Racing GmbH, Deutche Tourenwagen Series and GT2 European Series.[3] She has worked with German racing driver Sophia Flörsch.[4] She has supported events for International Women in Engineering Day by providing insights on her experience as a woman in motorsport as well as her career and subject interests.[5]

She is a fan of Michael Schumacher.[6]

Education

Müller attended the Technical University of Munich where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Automotive Engineering in 2015, as well as completing a Master of Science Degree in Automotive Engineering in 2018.[2]
