Kishan Chezhian (born July 23, 1993) is an Indian film editor who works predominantly in the Tamil film industry.
Early life and education
[edit]Kishan Chezhian was born in Palani, Tamil Nadu. He developed an early interest in film editing, pursuing studies in Visual Communication at Don Bosco College. After completing his education, he began working as an assistant editor in the Tamil film industry, gradually building a reputation for his craft.
Career
[edit]Kishan Chezhian's career began in 2017, when he worked as an assistant editor on the film Sathriyan directed by S. R. Prabhakaran.
Kishan Kumar's breakthrough came in 2022 with the film Super Senior Heroes. The theatrical release of the film was affected by post-production delays and the COVID-19 pandemic; it was released through Netflix.
He also edited corporate shows like Alex in Wonderland by comedian Alexandar Babu, and Kancheepuram Maapla by director Praveen Kumar.
