Keeper Wars Ink[1] is a soccer company that runs 1v1 goalkeeper events in a tournament-style model. Launched in 2020, Keeper Wars Ink runs U.S. City Tour Events, culminating in a National Championship Event at the end of the season. [2][3][4]

Played on a small field, Keeper Wars is a tournament in which two goalkeepers trade off shooting at each other, trying to out-score and out-save their opponent during the six-minute match.[5]

City Tour events are contested in a two-day structure. Day one consists of a round-robin style event, determining the rankings for the next day. Day two consists of a double-elimination style tournament, eventually crowing a third, second, and first-place champion. Champions of each age group receive an invite to the National Championship event at the end of the season.[6] [7]

Keeper Wars Ink was created in 2018 by Tonya Pinkerton and Casey Clark in Lake St. Louis, Missouri. The first event took place on June 22, 2019, partnering with CORE Soccer Training, a company owned by former USMNT goalkeeper Jamie Swanner.

Keeper Wars Ink officially launched on January 31, 2020. It survived during the COVID-19 pandemic due to the non-contact nature of the event.[8]

Notable event locations include St. Louis, Wichita, Quad Cities, Milwaukee, Murfreesboro, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Auburndale, Omaha, Turlock, Lancaster, and Fredericksburg.[9] [10]

Keeper Wars Ink is currently in its 5th City Tour season.

On May 8th, 2022, Keeper Wars Ink launched Field Wars, a division of Keeper Wars Ink that focuses on field players in a 4v4 competition.[11]
