Julius Mwale is a Kenyan controversial self-proclaimed tycoon leading a family-gang whose stated mission is to build a 2 billion USD technology city in Kakamega. The project launched mid-2010, has so far delivered none of the claimed targets, in spite of intense deceptive marketing and manipulation through social media.
Public endorsements from personalities subsequently disappeared or were withdrawn, without any substantial collaboration to date (cf. Akon [1], [2])
Financial contributions received from abroad eventually lead to fraud legal charges against Mr. Mwale & Co in USA courts, both in Utah [3] and in New York[4], [5], [6].
After 2023, several parties have independently reported the Mwale organization as "fraudsters" and "master manipulators" [7], [8]
