Joseph Stephen Zuccaro Jr. (c. 1924 – September 2008) was a justice of the Supreme Court of Mississippi from 1987 to 1989.[1]
Son of a Sicilian immigrant and a Natchez native. He served in the Marines in World War II and after graduating from law school at the University of Mississippi in 1949, he practiced law in Natchez until May 1983 when he was appointed interim chancellor for the 17th Chancery District. He... did not seek re-election after his term expired on Jan. 1, 1989.[2]
On October 22, 1987, Governor William Allain appointed Zuccaro to a seat on the state supreme court vacated by the death of Chief Justice Harry G. Walker.[2]
Zuccaro died at his home in Natchez at the age of 84.[2]
