Johny Timung is a former social activists based in Diphu, Karbi Anglong, in the Indian state of Assam.
Early life
[edit]Timung did his schooling from Langsoliet High School. He continued his higher education from Diphu Government College, where he twice participated and won in the students union election.
Career
[edit]As an activist, he was member of Karbi Language Development Board and was actively involved in development of Karbi language and acted as teacher of the same language.[1][2]
