- Comment: Fails WP:ANYBIO, requires significant coverage (not mentions in passing about the individual (not Lil Durk) in multiple reliable independent secondary sources. Noting Genius is not an acceptable source. Dan arndt (talk) 02:19, 7 January 2025 (UTC)

Early life
[edit]John Lam was born on August 27, 1994, in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he also grew up and learned how to produce beats.[citation needed]
Career
[edit]Lam had been producing for several years before he met a close friend of American rapper Lil Durk in 2019. He began developing a relationship with them over the next couple years. In 2020, Lam produced three tracks on Lil Durk's fifth studio album, Just Cause Y'all Waited 2.[1] Later that same year, Lam produced five tracks on Lil Durk's sixth studio album, The Voice. [2] In 2022, Lam would produce "Barbarian",[3] a song from Lil Durk's seventh studio album, 7220.[4]
7220 was a success, debuting atop the US Billboard 200 with 120,500 album-equivalent units (including 2,500 pure album sales). The album was Lil Durk's first No. 1 solo album on Billboard 200.[5]
