Jeffrey D. Barbieri, born on November 3, 1966, is an American author celebrated for his diverse literary contributions, encompassing both fiction and poetry. His passion for storytelling ignited during his childhood in Puerto Rico, where he first recognized the power of words to evoke emotions. Barbieri has garnered accolades for his work, including the NJ Male Author of the Year Award for his debut novels, “Let’s Find You” and “FROG.”

From 1985 to 1993, Jeffrey served in the U.S. Army as a Military Transportation Operator (66 Charlie) and a Heavy Machine Operator (88 Mike), stationed with the 469th Engineer Battalion. He also launched his first business, “Friendly Critters,” which specialized in personal greeting cards.

Barbieri pursued further education at the Chubb Institute, focusing on Mainframe Programming and Job Control Language (JCL). He later attended Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., where he earned certification as a Computer Forensic Examiner (CFE) and licensed as a  Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) while being an active member of the EC Council. Subsequently, he obtained a Private Investigation License and established his own company, “JDB Forensic & Investigations.” His investigative work has been recognized in various high-profile cases, notably playing a pivotal role in solving the murder of Jonathan Keen. In addition to his literary and investigative pursuits, Barbieri enjoys hobbies such as skydiving and beekeeping.

Barbieri is credited for writing Bank of America and Wells Fargo cybersecurity curriculum where he trained employees, contractors and interns on cybersecurity.
