Submission declined on 28 December 2024 by Theroadislong (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

[edit]Jan David Corvin was born July 28, 1998, and raised in Stuttgart, Germany. He is the son of German-Australian entrepreneurs Karl (Charles) Korvin (Корвин-Круковский), with possible partial ancestry from the royal Corvin family of Hungary, and Jana Korvinova. His paternal grandparents were Hungarian Jewish immigrants.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
As of 2024, he is a citizen and/-or permanent resident of Hungary, Germany, Hong Kong (S.A.R), China (P.R.C), the USA and Australia.
He is known to be a polyglot and fluent in German, English, Chinese, Czech, Hebrew and Hungarian.
After 2014, Corvin moved to the United States. He moved to New York City and met South Korean investment banker Meeyoung Choi.[7] He rose through New York society and cultivated relationships with celebrities. In New York, he worked briefly for an investment bank and as a concert pianist, becoming acclaimed internationally. [8]
Corvin attended Columbia University (Class of 2020) in New York City, New York.[9]
In 2021, Jan, in collaboration with Gemerald LTD and the Israel Diamond Exchange, launched the world’s first gender-neutral, high jewellery line aimed at high net-worth individuals predominantly in China (P.R.C), Hong Kong (S.A.R), Europe and the USA, for the gender fluid youth movement, with his long-time friend and family Shlomo Eshed.[10] The brand has its largest base in Hong Kong and Shanghai and goes by the name Stritz Jewellery Group.[11][12][13][14]
In 2022, he was officially appointed CEO, of the family’s operations in South East Asia. Jan D Corvin is a member of APEC and a holder of the distinguished ABTC Travel Card.[15] In September 2024, he helped broker a deal for LetterOne, owned in part by Petr Aven and Mikhail Fridman, to acquire a minority stake of 14.87% in UK’s largest North Sea oil producer, by selling his family-stake in DEA (Deutsche Erdöl AG). The sale totalled €5.1 billion.[16][17][18]
Although a socialite, Corvin is described by those close to him as naturally efficient, reserved, diplomatic, secretive and calculating. He often dresses simply and avoids eye contact.
