Inari was established in 2006 as an EMS provider of semiconductor packaging services for global players in the Radio Frequency (RF) mobile industry, which include back-end wafer processing and RF testing. Inari’s facilities are located in Penang and Johor, Malaysia. Inari’s RF products are used mainly in the wireless telecommunications, including smartphones, 3G devices, cellular phones, and wireless computing peripherals.

On 25 June 2013, Inari completed the acquisition of Amertron for USD32 million. The name of the enlarged Group was subsequently changed to Inari Amertron Berhad effective 5 July 2013 to reflect the new corporate identity.
