Heist of Benin is an upcoming American heist thriller film, directed by Victoria Mahoney and written by Jesse Quinones. It stars Mahershala Ali and David Oyelowo.
Premise
[edit]A crew of five is hired to pull off one of the biggest art heists of the 21st century by stealing the Benin Bronzes from a high-security British museum that were originally stolen from Africa in 1897.[1]

[edit]In March 2023, it was announced that a heist thriller film titled Heist of Benin was in development for Apple TV+, with Victoria Mahoney directing and Jesse Quinones writing the screenplay. Mahershala Ali and David Oyelowo star in the lead roles.[1]
