Hedonic Treadmill

Regardless of major life events, good or bad, humans tend to quickly return to a stable state of happiness, which is known as the "hedonic treadmill" or "hedonic adaptation." Although achieving a goal or gaining material wealth may temporarily increase happiness, these benefits tend to diminish as people adjust to their new circumstances.Similarly, even a bad experience can lead to a happy recovery. This theory suggests that worldly achievements have no long-term effect on happiness. Instead, long-term satisfaction comes from internal factors such as gratitude, relationships, and personal growth. We can stop chasing benefits for a while and focus on our real value by knowing the impact of driving. Happiness and contentment are the result of this thinking.
