Features of the Temple

[edit]

Height of The Tower

[edit]

The tower reaches a remarkable height of 120 meters and contains the main shrines devoted to Sri Sri Radha Krishna, Sri Sri Nitai Gauranga, Sri Sita Rama Lakshmana Hanuman, and Lord Venkateswara Swamy[7]. The Hare Krishna Heritage Tower is set to emerge as a significant tourist destination in Telangana. This grand temple will elegantly combine traditional Indian temple architecture with modern design elements.[8]

Goshpada Kshetram

[edit]

Hare Krishna Heritage Tower is poised to become a significant architectural feature on a sprawling six-acre site in Narsingi, Hyderabad. This remarkable edifice will be situated within the Goshpaada Kshetra, a revered location that has been graced by the presence of numerous cows over the years. Reaching a height of 120 meters, it will rank among the tallest towers in India and will house the Sri Sri Radha Krishna Temple, Sri Sri Nitai Gauranga Temple, Sri Sita Rama Lakshmana Hanuman Temple, and the Lord Venkateswara Swamy Temple. The complex will also feature an amphitheater, meticulously designed gardens, ashrams, and a facility dedicated to the hospitality of pilgrims and cultural education. The site enjoys excellent connectivity, with the Outer Ring Road located merely 250 meters away, along with major roads situated 120 meters and 100 meters to the north and west, respectively. Additionally, the Heritage Tower will be conveniently positioned near the kitchens of The Akshaya Patra Foundation and Hare Krishna Charities, which serve meals to numerous individuals in Hyderabad, as well as the Goshala of Sri Krishna Goseva Mandal, which has been committed to the care of thousands of cows for many years.[9][10]

Concept Design

[edit]

The Hare Krishna Heritage Tower features an architectural design that pays tribute to the renowned Brihadeeswara Temple, showcasing the grandeur and intricate artistry typical of the Chola dynasty. Built by the distinguished Chola emperor Rajaraja I between 1003 and 1010 CE, the Brihadeeswara Temple stands as a testament to the exquisite craftsmanship of Dravidian architecture and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its remarkable scale, elaborate sculptures, and intricate frescoes establish it as a cultural masterpiece of great importance. The Venkateswara Swamy Temple within the Hare Krishna Heritage Tower is carefully crafted to reflect its esteemed counterpart, the Tirupati Balaji Temple. Each element, from the Maha Mandapam or Main Hall to the Garbhagudi or Sanctum Sanctorum, captures the spiritual and architectural essence that has attracted numerous devotees to Tirupati. Additionally, the architectural features will draw inspiration from the illustrious Sri Ranganatha Swamy Temple in Srirangam and the famous Jagannath Temple in Puri.[1][11]
