Draft:Halden sculptures

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Halden are public sculptures situated atop historic coal mine slag piles in the Ruhrgebiet region of Germany.[1] Halden celebrate the industrial heritage and culture of the Ruhrgebiet,[2] and act as representations of regional identity in the region's ongoing transition to a postindustrial landscape.[3][4]
