Florian R. Sander aka Flo Sander (born 20 July 1976) is a German hospitality entrepreneur and founder of iThink Consulting Group. Having started his career in Hong Kong where he worked for notable companies The Hong Kong Jockey Club and Goldman Sachs he moved to Singapore where he designed iconic boutique hotels such as KeSa House[1] and Ann Siang House[2]
Originally from Germany, Flo has moved to Switzerland at a young age in order to study at the infamous Ecole Hoteliere Lausanne[3][circular reference]. Having graduated with Honours he soon moved to Bangkok where he focused on hospitality concepts and designs with The Sukhothai Bangkok and COMO Hotels and Resorts. After he lead his respective teams in the successful launches of La Scala and Cy'an he was headhunted to work in Hong Kong. His signature projects with the Hong Kong Jockey Club included multi-million developments The Parade Ring, adrenaline Sports Bar and The Racing Club. Later, as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, he spearheaded corporate marketing and events in the Asia-ex Japan region. He founded iThink Consulting Group in 2009 out of a passion for people and hospitality and to create memorable hospitality concepts that leave a distinct feeling of relatability for their patrons. He has since become a leading voice of hospitality trends in Asia[4] while iThink has started receiving great attention for its design works and has been honoured with the German Design Award 2020 for its innovative website design.[5]
In 2013 he got married to Malissa Sadhwani, a member of the prominent Harilela Family, and the couple has two children, Rafaela and Enzo.
Flo received an EMBA with distinction from prominent business school HEC Paris in 2022 and he currently resides in Singapore.
