Enigma of Fear is a survival horror video-game created by the streamer and creative director Rafael "Cellbit" Lange, developed by Dumativa and set to release on November 28, 2024 for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox[1][2]. In the game, the player controls Mia, a paranormal investigator that, accompanied by her dog Lupi, have the mission of saving her dad, Mr. Verity, the leader of a secret organization called "Ordo Realitas".[3][4]
The game is based on the Role-playing game campaings of the webseries Paranormal Order, created by Cellbit, transmitted live on his Twitch channel since february of 2020.[3][5]
For the developing of the game, a crowdfunding was announced during a live-stream on October 17th, 2020, with the goal to reach 500.000 reais (approximatedly U$ 86.100),[6] achieved in less than 5 hours, collecting, by its end, more than 4 million reais (U$ 688.000).[7] During the crowdfunding it was said the game would receive graphic improvements, more gameplay hours, additional endings,[8] aside from the game being completely voice acted, not only in Portuguese (the game's original language), but also in English and Spanish. A demo version of the game was announced and released on the same day of its release date trailer.[9]

Background
[edit]During the campaing of The Secret in the Forest, Dumativa, a indie brazilian game developer, contacted Cellbit, saying that the Paranormal Order story had the potential for a game.
On October 17th, 2020, during a live-stream, it was announced a crowdfunding for the game, with the goal of reaching 500.000 reais for its development. This amount was achieved in just five hours. At the end, more than 4 million reais were reached.[7] During the campaing, it was said the game would have graphic improvements, additional gameplay hours, other endings,[8] an Alternative Reality Game (ARG), aside from the game being completely voice acted in Portuguese, English and, later announced, in Spanish.
The game was originally planned to be released in 2023, but Rafael Lange said he wanted to deliver a quality product, and for that, he would need more time. Posteriorly, he said it would still be released in 2024. By the end of October, Cellbit and Dumativa announced the release date for Enigma of Fear by November 28th, 2024, in addition to a demo of the game.[12]
