Overview
[edit]EN 1522 is standard that released by European Committee for Standardization to outlines the requirements and classifications for testing windows, doors, shutters, and blinds. Tests are conducted according to another standard (EN 1023).[1] EN 1522 applies to windows, doors, shutters, and blinds, including their frames and infills, to assess their resistance to attacks involving handguns, rifles, and shotguns. This standard can be used for classifying a protection level of armored vehicles, buildings or another type of armored structures.[2]
