Dr. Sudheer Dara (born 29 June 1971) is an Indian physician, pain management specialist, and politician. He is the founder and director, and Dr. Minal Chandra, Co-Founder of Epione Pain Management, a healthcare facility[1] in Hyderabad, Telangana, specializing in regenerative therapies and non-surgical approaches for chronic pain management.[2] Dr. Dara is also affiliated with the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), where he actively participates in political initiatives[3] focused on healthcare and public welfare.

Early Life and Education

Dr. Sudheer Dara was born in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, and completed his schooling in the state. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) degrees from Kurnool Medical College. He further specialized in anesthesiology and pain medicine, with additional training in Pain and Palliative Care at MNJ Cancer Hospital, Hyderabad.

Medical Career

Dr. Dara has contributed significantly to the field of pain management in India,[4]emphasizing non-invasive and regenerative therapies. In 2018, he established Epione Pain Management, which provides innovative treatments such as Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy and other minimally invasive techniques for managing conditions like joint pain, back pain, and cancer-related pain.

Over his career, Dr. Dara has conducted extensive training programs, educating over 10,000 medical professionals in pain management techniques. He has also organized cadaveric workshops to train healthcare practitioners in interventional procedures.

Political Career

In addition to his medical pursuits, Dr. Dara is actively involved in politics. As a member of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP), he has been tasked with overseeing political activities in a Lok Sabha constituency and several assembly segments in Andhra Pradesh.[5] His political focus includes enhancing healthcare accessibility and addressing public health issues.

Dr. Dara has published multiple research papers on topics such as radiofrequency ablation, trigeminal neuralgia, and the effectiveness of regenerative therapies.
