[edit]Dr. Jimmy Adeniyi (b. June 19, 1963) is a distinguished Nigerian sports psychologist , educator and coach with extensive contributions to sports development particularly in sports psychology and administration in Nigeria. He was born in Lagos, Nigeria and hails from Ikorodu Lagos State.
Education
[edit]Dr. Adeniyi began his academic journey at Government Teachers' College, Ikorodu, where he obtained his Grade Two Teachers Certificate in 1983. He pursued further studies at the Federal College of Education, Yola affiliated with Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, earning a Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) in Physical and Health Education in 1987. He later attended ABU, Zaria graduating with a Bachelor of Education in Physical and Health Education in 1987. He later attended ABU, Zaria graduating with a Bachelor of Education in Physical and Health Education in 1989. He completed his Master of Education in Sport Administration from the University of Lagos in 1996 and eared a Doctor of Philosophy in Sports Psychology from Lagos State University in 2016.[1]
