DimaNet is an open-source software library written in ANSI C and C++. It focuses on the implementation and training of feedforward artificial neural networks (ANNs), utilizing only standard C libraries.
History
[edit]DimaNet began as a closed-source project in December 2019. Created by Dima, it was initially a small experiment exploring the capabilities of ANSI C in training neural networks. After a period of inactivity, DimaNet was rediscovered in July 2021. Since then, the project has been taken on the sole responsibility for maintaining and developing the library. In a significant move towards wider development, DimaNet was officially released as an open-source project in 2023.
