Declan James (musician) is an American electronic music producer and DJ from Dallas, Texas. He is best known for his experimental style of minimal techno.[1]

Career

Declan James first came to notoriety as a Trance music producer in 2017 for his track 'Who I Am.' The single featured co-producer Notaker and vocalist Karra with the lyrics co-written by Matthew Steeper.[2] In 2018, he released 'Weapon,' a collaboration with the grammy nominated duo Fatum, on Armada Music. [3]

In 2018, James announced his intention to switch to producing minimal techno. He performed at Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas in in 2019, 2022, and 2023. In 2023 he toured with Richie Hawtin on the 'From Our Minds TBA Tour.'[4]
