Company N-1 is the oldest original Navy/Marine outfit in the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets, having been 1 of the original 2 Navy/Marine outfits created when Naval Reserve Officers' Training Corps (NROTC) was brought to Texas A&M in 1972. Since its creation, Compnay N-1 has produced high numbers of Military Officers, Business Executives & Owners, and Government Officials.

[edit]Since its creation in 1972, Company N-1 has specialized in creating officers for all branches of the United States military especially the United States Navy and Marine Corps. Company N-1 has created over 220 service members that have served or are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces.
Alumni of Company N-1 have served as: Aviators, Naval Flight Officers, Infantry Officers, Surface Warfare Officers, Explosive Ordinance Disposal Officers, Intelligence Officers, Green Beret Special Forces Detachment Commanders, Judge Advocate General's Officers, Reconnaissance Officers, Submariners, Nuclear Surface Warfare Officers, Field Artillery Officers, Logistics Officers, Supply Corps Officers, Engineering Officers, Navy Diving Officers, and Public Affairs Officers.
