The Chinese liturgical calendar describes a collection of important events, festivals and feast days of deities in Taoism, Buddhism and Chinese Folklore Religion as practiced by the Chinese community in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia and other Chinese diasporas in the world. The dates are based on the Chinese calendar system which is a lunisolar calendar comprising 12 months of alternately 29 and 30 days and an intercalary or leap month (闰月)[1] every three years.
