Draft:CaseOh
Submission declined on 30 November 2024 by CFA (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Case "CaseOh" Baker[2] is an American YouTuber, Twitch streamer, and social media personality. He is best known for his content centered around video games and his rages.
Early and Personal Life
[edit]Baker was born and raised in Dallas County, Arkansas. He worked as a maintenance worker alongside his father before his streaming career. He helped with tasks like lawn mowing and plumbing. His interest in streaming began when his debit card was declined at a store, and his mother encouraged him to explore livestreaming. He completed his education in Arkansas but didn't pursue college, choosing instead to focus on building his career as a content creator. He also developed a passion for video games from a young age, spending a lot of time playing titles like NBA 2K and Call of Duty.[3][better source needed]
Career
[edit]Baker started posting NBA 2K content on TikTok in September 2022, which quickly gained attention. He then moved to Twitch and began streaming games like NBA 2K23 and horror titles like Five Nights at Freddy’s and Granny.[3] As his popularity grew, Case gained popularity for his obesity, to which viewers in the live chat feed would make fat jokes and insults based off his body weight. These included food puns with portmanteaus of celebrities, brands or fictional characters, comparing Baker to an obese character and comically exaggerating his weight.[4]
In August 2024, he was announced as a new member of Asmongold’s talent agency, Mythic Talent.[5] He was one of the most subscribed Twitch streamers on the platform, having over 60,000 active subscribers.[6] In February during the Streamer Awards, he had over 110,000 average viewers.[7][8]
Fans Complex spoke to in late 2024 said that they thought that CaseOh was the most popular streamer right now alongside IShowSpeed, Ironmouse, and Kai Cenat.[9] Baker had a voice role as a news reporter in the video game Fears to Fathom: Woodsbury Gateaway.[10]
Baker was nominated for multiple categories in the February 2024 Streamer Awards ceremony show, including winning the category of "Best Variety Streamer." He was also nominated for "Best Breakthrough Streamer" being beaten by Jynxzi, and was nominated for the official Streamer of the Year, being surpassed by Kai Cenat.[11] Baker later won Content Creator of the Year at The Game Awards 2024.[12]
