Campo Mar - U is the training ground and headquarters of Peruvian club, Universitario de Deportes. The complex was constructed and opened in 1983. It has an area of 520,000 m² and is located on the Pan-American Highway South in the Lurín District of Lima.[1]
Facilities
[edit]- Villa Deportivo de la U (VIDU): A training centre for the various lower divisions and also for the professional team, particularly during the pre-season periods. The VIDU also houses the first phase of the U High Performance Centre, which has a gym, dining room, locker rooms, offices, physiotherapy area and a new plaza.[2]
- Centro de Verano: Public for members and pre-season preparation. It has a boardwalk, ten football fields, two swimming pools for adults, a children's pool, pelota courts, multi-sport courts, games for children, rooms with indoor games, large green spaces, bungalows, pergolas and restaurants.[3]
